I agree with the second quote. I find that if I force myself to read long sections of the Bible but don't think about what it means, reading it is pointless.
Amen! What a challange to spend time EVERY DAY in God's Word -- it will change our lives!
And about the word identification thing...it is a setting that anyone can put on their blog. I don't really like having to have it on mine (it makes commenting so much more challenging!) but I've had some problem with spam commenters -- those who comment on my blog and link to some nasty stuff. Putting the word verification setting on my blog hinders those kind of comments. Make sense?! When we're home, I take it off because I'm there to check everything. While on the road, it is so much more challenging to get internet, that I decided to put it back on...just in case. Thanks for commenting in spite of it! :D
