I am not sure what this title should be.

I am done with two papers and one test! I think. I'm not sure right now, too tired! Oh, wait it was two papers and two tests! My goldfish brain! ...Do you think it would work if I asked the professors to excuse a goldfish from the rest of her finals?! :D

It's really nice outside, so I hate to complain, but... NOPE! Not gonna complain! Gotta remember Philippians 2:14 "Do everything without complaining or arguing." That's a really HARD verse to remember. It is so so so easy to complain and grumble and argue! [sigh] So, I will end this post positively...

I like apples, don't you?

`

The last puppy!! I can hardly believe it! :) :/

`

I took a lot more pictures, but I won't tell you how many,
because I don't know if I can count that high! :D

Psalm 145:2

My mom asked me today if I had praised the Lord today and truth be told, I hadn't. It made me think, how many days go by without praising the Lord?!

Praise the Lord for His creation!!

Praise the Lord for the cross!!!!!

Praise the Lord for brothers!!
Praise the Lord for my mom and dad, but alas alas, I don't have a picture of them here!! :(

Praise the Lord for friends!! Hee-hee, we look funny!

`
Every day I will praise you and extol your name
for ever and ever.
`
`
`
`
Have you praised the lord, today?

So...

does anyone know how I got this picture? Don't ask me because I don't know! It is less focused in the background. I think it looks neat and it would be really cool if I could do it again!! :) The only thing weird is how I positioned myself to take the picture. It was still muddy and I didn't want to actually lay on the ground. So I squatted as close to the ground as I could get without actually getting muddy. If only I had a picture of me taking the picture!!! :-D

I absolutely love...

waterfalls!!!! You can't tell, right? Too bad there aren't any in North Dakota...
But wait...what's this? A WATERFALL IN NORTH DAKOTA!!!
Alleluia!!

(Japanese Gardens in Illinois)
Before this post, I knew there were a lot of "water scriptures",
but I didn't know that there was (specifically) a "waterfall Psalm." How cool!

(Sturgis, SD)
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers have swept over me.

Prayer Request

"Here are some pics of Teagan showing off her owie and her new arm gear. Trenton shut the back of the bedroom door on her finger and almost cut it off. The ER would not even fix it, so we had to go to a plastic surgeon and he put her to sleep and did surgery to sew it back on. It may not grow as much as it should and she may never have a nail on it, but at least we have the finger. She is doing well considering the pain, and has to wear arm braces so she does not pull off the wrap on her finger. Hopefully it heals up great and we will never notice it happened."

Here is to praying that Teagan heals completely and quickly!! And may God put His arms of protection around Teagan so that she is in no pain. Please comment to leave an encouraging note!

And, thanks, Shanon and Gabe, for letting me post this!

Psalm 96:11-13

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them.
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy;
`

they will sing before the LORD, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his truth.

A North Dakota Landmark...

in our backyard. Okay, maybe not, but I thought that it was pretty cool! And it technically isn't in our backyard, more like frontyard. :) However, on a farm, it isn't really a front or backyard. :) I took this picture awhile ago, but it wasn't loading and then I forgot it about it!! :-O

Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

Only three left!

Well, the puppies are going fast! We only have three left!!! :D :( I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Probably good, becuase puppies eat a lot! But it is also bad because then I can't take pictures of them and run away from them for fear of getting trampled! ;)

Header

I'm in a little of a transition right now. I'm trying to change the header to be one of my pictures. So far so good, but the words "AIMING for perfection" looks a little funky. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong. I guess this just proves that we can AIM for perfection, but we can't BE perfect!!! :) Oh, by the way, Bryant, thanks for helping me out! I just changed it again, it looks a little better. What do you think of the picture?

Sheep-shearing!

Okay, this might be my longest post, ever. Just thought I would let you know. This morning we were shearing sheep. Okay,... I was just taking pictures! :)

`

Before shearing...

and after shearing. :)

Andrew's job was pressing down the wool,

the pictures kind of explain for themselves what happened. ;)

Where did he go?

But don't worry, he was alright! ;-)

We just had three lambs!!! Yippee! They are soo cute and soooo small!

The ram is the one looking directly at you. :/

Happy Birthday, Jessie!!! I hope you have a great Birthday in Ecuador and I expect to see some pictures! :) CPs for life! ;-) ;-D

Bubble-wrapped

If you look really closely inside the big bubble, you can see my reflection. I thought that was so cool! I took this picture when I was in the process of photographing a North Dakota landmark....

Caption Contest

I'm going to steal an idea from Bethany and have a caption contest!

So... what do you think this puppy is thinking?

By the way, if you want more pictures of the puppies, I can put them up here or you can go over to my other blog. Which do you prefer?

Easter Pictures

Yesterday for Easter, we went to Susan's house for dinner/lunch (whatever you want to call it). All the food was sooooo good! Thanks so much Susan! Anyways, Scott and Trenton were in the other room reading. A perfect picture opportunity!

Easter

My favorite (Easter) Hymn-- Christ Arose
`
`
`
`

`

`

`
`
`
`
`
Up from the grave He arose,

With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,

He arose a Victor from the dark domain,

And He lives forever,

with His saints to reign.

He arose!

He arose!

Hallelujah!

Christ arose!

Good Friday!

Good Friday! What an absolutely perfect day to be a Jesus Freak!

How splendid the cross of Christ! It brings life, not death; light, not darkness; paradise, not its loss. It is the wood on which the Lord, like a great warrior, was wounded in hands and feet and side, but healed thereby our wounds. A tree had destroyed us; a tree now brought us life.

Theodore of Studios

They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand and knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said. They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

The Crucifixion

As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross. They came to a place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull). There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Two robbers were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, "You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!"
In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. "He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! He's the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God.' " In the same way the robbers who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

The Death of Jesus

From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land. About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
When some of those standing there heard this, they said, "He's calling Elijah."
Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. The rest said, "Now leave him alone. Let's see if Elijah comes to save him."
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.
When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son of God!"

Lunar Eclipse... finally!!

Well it has been about a month since I told you about the lunar eclipse. Now my pictures are finally developed!!! Yeah! It is kind of annoying that Bismarck is so far away! ;-)
`
My best lunar eclipse picture...

Just kidding!!! :D but that is what I was worried about. This was the first one that I saw, and I got really bummed. It really lifted my spirits when I saw that a couple turned out or you could at least tell what it was! ;D I am so excited!!! YIPPEE!! YEAH! :D

Actually, the bottom two were the best two out of four.

The pictures are better in person, oh well....

He will endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon,

through all generations.

Invisible Children

Check it out! Suzanne posted something on her blog, Perfect in Love, about The Invisible Chlidren. We went to this amazing documentary on Monday night. You really have to see it to fully appreciate it.

But Jesus called the children to him and said,
"Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
