Happy birthday Trisha! Gosh, you are old. 23. Well I'm in North Dakota, waiting for you to get here. But for some reason you are staying in sunny Oregon. Silly. I guess we will just have to celebrate in style this summer. (yes, the queens of thrift shopping must conquer the stores!)

Happy birthday Andrew! You are 13 this year!! You are a teenager and I just can't believe it. I'll definitely miss all your funny quips and comments. And I'll miss reading the Bible and praying with you at night.

Happy birthday!! I love seeing the way you interact with Teagan and Trenton. You are so amazing with kids. (Which is probably why you coach :) I'm sure you'll call this another 'illegal' picture, but I'll post it anyway. Whether you know it or not, you really encourage me in my spiritual walk with the Lord. Thank you for all the fun times, whether it was cleaning, drinking homemade root beer or just talking. We had quite the celebration yesterday. Susan and Robert and Paul came over to celebrate. And Gabe and Shanon and cuties Trenton and Teagan. And Nathaniel and Alyse and sweet Elisabeth. And Florence. Now if you'll excuse me while I take pictures of the cutest kids...

A belated birthday

With all of the festivities, horror of all horrors, I forgot about my post dedicated to Susan!! [shock!] Time for reminiscing. Ah, so many memories...biking up to piano lessons in the summer, making sure to pick (at least one!) flower; homemade pizza; Chocolate chip KUCHEN!!! and the joy of horseback riding back in the good ol' days. The list goes on....

Thank you Susan for being such a great aunt! I hope you had a happy birthday!!! :)My cup when I go to Susan's.

Yay! Blogger is cooperating! I can post some pictures! Happy birthday Mom!! You are so many things. I really don't think I can list them all. You are such an inspiration to me. You encourage me so much, you have no idea the impact. It makes me want to go farther (especially this year with drawing). Your silliness has impacted me as well, but I think that is an entirely different post.

Homework Report

Okay, so last night (well, actually this morning!) I went to bed at 3:30!! I was studying my psychology chapter. And tonight I have a feeling it will be pretty late night as well. :P I have to draw someone's eye for at least 20 minutes. If you think that it doesn't sound like a lot, just try it! Your arm about falls off. Let's see, a chapter in my NT textbook, about 40 pages in Shadow of the Galilean (which is actually fairly easy reading-- narrative story of Jesus) and a chapter in Design. That's what is due tomorrow.

For Friday, I have a personal reaction paper to type (1-3 pages-- YAY that it isn't long!) Some drawings due on Monday-- supposed to take 10 hours in all. :P And I need to read the next chapter for another psychology quiz next week.

Today I watched Star Trek for the first time-- for my New Testament class. I'm sorry, but that show is BOR-RING (and kind of hard to follow-- kept getting planet's and people mixed up! :)! But when you are with friends, it is much better, because then you can all make fun of the characters and ask questions like, "What is the name of the planet they are on?" and "What is the bald captain's name again?"

Tonight is room inspection. I guess that means I should vacuum, huh? :)

And today is my room-mate's birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday, Allie!!!!!!

I almost forgot!-- on the way back from supper tonight, I saw the hugest racoon that I have ever seen in my WHOLE 19 years of existence on this planet! It was HUGE! I had to look again to make sure it wasn't a badger, but it wasn't! I'M POSITIVE!!!

Kendra, you are 20 years old today! Old, old, old.... I was able to carefully send pictures you to my computer (the mouse is VERY touchy and freezes almost instantly after the program is started ): But now I have pictures of you, Kendra! Bwah ha ha ha ha!!!! Let's see, information about Kendra... Oh what can I say?

• She is easily amused. (I think all of my friends are!)
• She thinks a lot of things are amusing. I think her favorite phrase when she was here, was that something is amusing. :D
• She will be done with Job Corps soon! YAY!!!

to a wonderful grandma in Heaven! Margaret Pauley. Isn't that a beautiful name?

I wish I could say that I have endless stories about my grandma. I truly wish I did, but truth be told, I don't.

I know she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and woman. She was amazing. She won Mother of the Year in 1983.

She noticed that I was not breathing when I was still in the hospital. She is my guardian angel.

I love you, Grandma! And I can hardly wait to see you again!

Well, sorry the pictures are late but I was up all night...and morning. For supper, we had my mom's homemade pizza!! Yum! Then Susan, Robert and Paul came over for cake and opening presents.

Trisha and I stayed up until 3-4:00 in the morning watching I Love Lucy and I Dream of Jeannie. As you can tell, it was tiring work.
